"Craig and I had been together 10 years before getting married, and it was important to us that our Celebrant understood our relationship and the enormity of this next step. Peter was everything we wanted in a Celebrant... and more. He put us at ease as soon as wesat down to discuss our ceremony and what we envisioned. He helped us with our vows and was there for us if we had any questions. On the day, Peter helped Craig relax, as I was unexpectantly 25 mins late, and he made our guests feel very welcome. Our ceremony was perfect - relaxed, seamless,... exactly what we were after. Thank you Peter for making our day that much more special! I would recommend Peter to anyone looking to get married, or renewing their vows. P.S., We now have a beautiful daughter (conceived 1 month after our wedding!)... so now will be looking for Peter and theWeddingGuy team to conduct our baby naming ceremony."

Hair and Make up

Hair stylists, make-up artists, and beauticians are an essential part of any wedding day to ensure that you are looking your most radiant and beautiful.

Although there are no absolute rules when choosing a hairstyle for your wedding, your total bridal "look" needs to be taken into consideration as everything should balance. Your hair, for example, should compliment the style of your gown. Ultimately, it will depend on your personal preference and as such should reflect your personality and your own personal style.

Other things to take into consideration are whether you will be wearing a veil, a tiara, or flowers in your hair as well as whether your ceremony will be held during the day or night, inside or outside, and how long you need the style to last.

All of these things will have an impact to some extent on the most suitable hairstyle for your wedding day.

Wedding makeup should enhance your looks not cover them up! On your wedding day you still want to look like you, but at your most radiant and beautiful. Choose a makeup look that complements your overall bridal look whether that be romantic, modern, classic or whatever. Colours should complement your wedding gownand other wedding theme colours. Ultimately though as with choosing a hairstyle for your wedding, the makeup style you choose will depend on your preferences and own personal style.

Other things to take into consideration are whether your ceremony will be held during the day or night and whether the ceremony and/or photos will be held inside or outside as lighting needs to be taken into consideration when applying make-up.

Without a doubt, every guest at your wedding will ask to see your ring and in doing so will notice the condition of your hands and nails. Your hands and nails will also be captured forever in your wedding photos and video. With this in mind it is vitally important that on your wedding day your hands and nails look just as gorgeous as your ring.

Remember, our exclusive team of specialists at theWeddingGuy, includes professional and highly sought after Hair stylists, Make-up and Nail artists who will be pleased to work closely with you in determining a style and “look” that best reflects you, and the theme of your wedding.
